BEIRUT, Nov 6 (KUNA) -- At least 12 people died and a number of others suffered injuries in a spate of Israeli attacks on various regions of the country on Wednesday, the official National News Agency (NAA) said in an updated report.
The Israeli warplanes hit a number of adjacent houses belonging to a single family in the eastern ancient city of Baalbek, killing five people and wounding others, the NNA said, indicating that work of lifting debris and uncovering corpses from under the rubble was proceeding.
A separate air strike taregted Al-Meshrfeh near the town of Hermel, farther north of Baalbek, killing seven people and wounding others, the NAA said, also reporting heavy damage in this attack.
At around dusk, the Israeli occupation aircraft hit districts in the southern suburbs of Beirut, amid intensive overflights by pilotless aircraft. (pickup previous)
