JEDDAH, Nov 7 (KUNA) -- The Royal Commission for AlUla signed on Thursday an agreement with Italy's National Archaeological Museum of Naples to display relics from the museum in the Saudi province.
The official Saudi Press Agency said a selection of the Italian treasures would be brought for display in the Saudi governorate, now a key tourist attraction in the kingdom.
SPA indicated that 15 pieces would be part of the Ancient Kingdoms Festival that kicked off today in AlUla (due until November 30).
The Italian museum, established in 1777, is an iconic Italian cultural attraction. (end) fn.rk
