TUNIS, Nov 8 (KUNA) -- The Arab States Broadcasting Union will hold the next Arab Media Conference in Baghdad, Iraq, in April, marking the first time the event is hosted outside Tunisia. Director General Abdul Rahim Suleiman, speaking at a news conference, emphasized the Iraqi Media Network's crucial role in hosting the 111th session of the conference.
He expressed gratitude for their contributions to radio and television exchanges recognized at the Arab Radio and Television Festival.
Suleiman also noted Iraq's significance in the region as it prepares to host the Arab Summit and the meeting of Arab Information Ministers.
Karim Hammadi, head of the Iraqi Media Network, stated that the conference will attract around 150 to 200 media professionals and introduce a competition titled The Conference to reward the best journalistic work on environmental and climate change.
