RIYADH, Nov 11 (KUNA) -- The preparatory ministerial meeting of the joint Arab-Islamic summit began on Sunday with the participation of foreign ministers from member of states of Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The meeting, chaired by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, aims to discuss the agenda of the Monday's extraordinary summit and the draft final communique.
The document will focus on establishing a unified stance on the concerning developments in the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian territories as well as in Lebanon.
This meeting is part of the preparation for the summit which would be held under the auspices of King of Saudi Arabia King Salman bin Abdulaziz and supervised by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad Bin Salman. (end)
