RIYADH, Nov 10 (KUNA) -- The Gulf Cooperation Council's (GCC) Secretary-General Jassim Al-Budaiwi met on Sunday with the Italian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Carlo Balducci, to discuss the outcomes of the Gulf-European Summit held in October, where leaders from the GCC and the European Union convened.

According to a statement from the General Secretariat, discussions betwee Al-Budaiwi and Ambassador Balducci focused on enhancing cooperation between the GCC and Italy across various key sectors to serve shared interests. They also reviewed recent regional and international developments and exchanged views on issues of common concern.

Al-Budaiwi congratulated Ambassador Balducci on his recent appointment, expressing best wishes for success in his new role as Italy's representative in Saudi Arabia. (end)
