MANAMA, Nov 13 (KUNA) -- The visiting President of Kuwait's Directorate General for Civil Aviation, Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, on Wednesday affirmed that participation in international and regional fairs, where expertise in transports and aviation can be swapped, boosts the efforts for lifting the sector to higher levels.
Sheikh Humoud was speaking to KUNA as he visited the pavilion of Kuwait Airways at the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) that kicked off shortly earlier on Wednesday.
The exhibition is held at Sheikh Isa Air Base in al Sakhir, with the participation of major global aviation, defense and space companies.

He lauded the broad participation in the exhibition and expressed admiration and congratulations to King Hamad bin Issa Al-Khalifa for organizing the successful event.
