WASHINGTON, Jan 31 (KUNA) -- The black boxes of a U.S. commercial plane that collided with a military helicopter in Washington D.C. late Wednesday have been found, according to U.S. media reports.
Some 64 passengers were aboard the American Airlines aircraft that collided with an Army Black Hawk helicopter that was on a training mission flight, with three soldiers on board.
A preliminary report on the causes of the crash will be issued in 30 days, reports said, citing the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).
Rescue teams have so far recovered 27 bodies from the plane and one from the helicopter.
