DOHA, Feb 1 (KUNA) -- Sheikh Sabah Al-Salman Al-Sabah, head of the Kuwait Automobile and Motorcycle Club delegation, expressed his happiness for the top positions secured by the club's racers in the fourth round of the Arab Drag Racing Championship in Qatar.
The club's racers are keen on active participation in international events to elevate Kuwait's reputation, Sheikh Sabah told KUNA on Saturday.
He highlighted the directives of the club's president, Sheikh Ahmed Dawood Al-Salman Al-Sabah, emphasizing the importance of working hard and diligently to raise the country's name and flag in various forums.
During the fourth round of the Arab Drag Racing Championship, the Kuwait Club for Cars and Motorcycles earned four top placements. Racer Abdulwahab Al-Saleem secured second place in the Pro Super Street category, while Hussein Maqseed achieved third place in the Index 8.4 category. Additionally, racer Mohammed Abdullah took third place in the Pro NA category, and Abdulaziz Al-Suwailem finished second in the 5.8 category.
