Armed clashes were underway Friday on Syria’s border between the Lebanese Army and a group of gunmen.

“The clashes between the Lebanese Army and gunmen on Syria’s border are still ongoing, amid the arrival of security reinforcements and the injury of a (Lebanese) first lieutenant,” al-Jadeed television reported.
