Gold Hits All-time High on US Election Concerns
Singapore, 30 Oct (ONA) —- Gold hit an all-time peak today as investors flocked towards the safe-haven metal less than a week
before the US presidential election, while they awaited economic data
for clues on the Federal Reserve's rate stance.
Spot gold was up 0.2% at $2,779.39 per ounce, after hitting an
all-time high of $2,782.03 earlier in the session.
US gold futures rose 0.4% to $2,791.70.
