Japan Aims for 40-50% Renewable Power by 2040

Tokyo, 17 Dec (ONA) --- Japan aims to generate up to 50% of its electricity from renewable sources by fiscal year 2040, while nuclear power will account for 20%, according to a draft energy policy released today.
