Death Toll Rises to 126 in Tibet Earthquake
Beijing, 8 Jan (ONA) --- At least 126 people have died, and
over 3,000 buildings were damaged in a major earthquake in Tibet. More than
30,000 residents have been relocated as rescue teams continue searching for
survivors amid freezing temperatures.
Earthquakes are common in the region, which lies on a major
geological fault line, but the last earthquake was one of China’s deadliest in recent
