Oil Rises on Tighter OPEC Supply, US Jobs Data
Singapore, 8 Jan (ONA) --- Oil prices rose today as
supplies from Russia and OPEC members tightened, while data showing
an unexpected increase in US jobs openings pointed to expanding
economic activity and consequent growth in oil demand.
Brent crude was up 32 cents, or 0.42%, to $77.37 a barrel.
US West Texas Intermediate crude rose 42 cents, or 0.57%, to
$74.67.
