Earthquake Hits Fiji Islands in South Pacific
Suva, 22 Jan
(ONA) --- An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale struck the Fiji
Islands in the South Pacific today.
The US
Geological Survey said in a statement that the epicenter of the earthquake was
at a depth of 545 kilometers.
So far,
there have been no reports of human or material damage as a result of the
earthquake.
