By the end of 2023 the young American had made his Grand Slam debut - reaching the second round of the US Open - and became one of the top 100 tennis players in the world for the first time.His reward for a stellar season was a spot in the Next Gen Finals, an annual season-ending tournament for the eight highest-ranked singles players on the ATP Tour who are aged 21 and under.
