Video: Anatoly Malykhin shares weight cut secrets to drop from heavyweight to middleweight ahead of ONE 166: Qatar
When ONE Championship arrives in Qatar next week Anatoly Malykhin will be looking to make history as the first fighter to hold MMA titles in three weight classes simultaneously.
The Russian is already ONE’s heavyweight and light-heavyweight king – and now he’s looking for a third title in the Lusail Sports Arena on March 1.
Standing in his way will be reigning champion Reinier de Ridder, the man he beat for the light-heavyweight crown in December 2022.
Last time out Malykhin defeated India’s Arjan Bhullar heavyweight and many have been questioning quite how he will be able to drop down to the 205lbs ONE middleweight limit.
