In celebration of Bahrain’s national holidays, marking the establishment of the modern Bahraini State as an Arab and Muslim state founded by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, and the anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s Accession, the Ministry of Information will host the fourth National Day Festival at the Heritage Village in Ras Hayan from December 12 to January 4, 2025. This year’s festival coincides with Manama being recognised as the “Capital of Arab Media,” and will feature a wide array of events and programmes showcasing Bahrain’s cultural heritage and national identity. Key highlights include artistic and musical performances reflecting Bahrain’s folkloric traditions, a marketplace with a variety of Bahraini products, historical and art exhibitions exploring facets of Bahrain’s heritage, and dedicated areas for traditional crafts, local food, and sweets. Additionally, a range of educational and entertainment activities will be available for children.
