The UAE has established a new aid agency through Federal Decree No. 27 of 2024, issued by President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The UAE Aid Agency will operate under the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council with independent juridical status. UAE launches new aid agency The agency will implement foreign aid programmes and manage official government support, focusing on disaster relief, early recovery, post-conflict stabilisation, development, and capacity building initiatives.
