Director General of Public Security Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Bassami launched on Thursday the digital vehicle plate wallet service in a ceremony held at the directorate’s headquarters in Riyadh. The service will be available via the Ministry of Interior’s electronic platform Absher. Lt. Gen. Al-Bassami said that the launch of the digital vehicle plate wallet service comes with the support and follow-up of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, and as an extension of the efforts of Public Security to contribute to the digital transformation of the ministry’s services. This is through harnessing the latest technologies and benefiting from enablers, in a way enhancing the quality of services provided and improving the user experience, by digitizing services and enabling their implementation from their location without the need to visit the headquarters of the security sectors. In its first phase, the digital vehicle plate wallet service allows the winners of the electronic auction to view the vehicle plate ownership document in the digital wallet via the Absher platform.
