The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has announced that the Abo Noghta Castles in the historic town of Tabab, located in the Asir region, has been included on the Best Tourism Villages of 2024 list. The announcement was made during a ceremony held in Cartagena, Colombia, in the presence of Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Tourism. Al-Khateeb expressed his delight at the inclusion of the Abo Noghta Castles on the prestigious international list, emphasizing that this recognition highlights the diverse historical and cultural significance of various destinations across Saudi Arabia.
