The Bahrain National Museum has unveiled a ground-breaking exhibition, “Memories Engraved in Steel”, by renowned Spanish artist Juan Garaizabal. Organised in collaboration with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) and the Rashid Al Khalifa Art Foundation, the exhibition will run from November 23, 2024, to May 23, 2025. The exhibition offers an immersive experience with 12 monumental steel sculptures displayed in the museum’s outdoor courtyard. Visitors can interact with these striking pieces, bridging art and nature in a captivating dialogue. Indoors, the exhibition features five smaller monuments complemented by detailed sketches, narrating a seamless journey between historical depth and modern artistic innovation.
