The Bahrain Shooting Team secured a commendable achievement at the 53rd National Day Air Shooting Championship, held in the United Arab Emirates from November 20 to 25. The event featured over 85 shooters across various categories, representing three countries, contributing to a highly competitive and challenging tournament. Bahraini shooter Safa Mohammed Al Dosseri claimed first place and won the gold medal in the women’s 10-metre rifle individual competition. In the men’s category; shooter Hussain Abduljabbar Ali secured second place in the 10-meter men’s rifle competition, while Khaled Mohammed Al Dosseri came in third place in the same competition. Moza Abdulraheem Ali also won first place and the gold medal in the 10-meter women’s air pistol competition. These results reflect the great efforts exerted by the Bahrain Shooting Federation in preparing and qualifying its players, and the continuous support of Bahraini athletes to secure international achievements that enhance the Kingdom’s position in the sports sector. On this occasion, Shaikh Salman bin Khalid Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Shooting Federation, attributed this success to the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the development of sports and athletes in the Kingdom.
