The Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) is hosting the National Day Horse Racing Festival on Thursday and Friday, December 12 and 13, featuring the seventh and eighth races of the season. The event celebrates Bahrain’s National Day, commemorating the founding of modern Bahrain as an Arab Islamic state by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783 and the anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s accession. The festival will include diverse activities alongside the races, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere for attendees. The seventh race, taking place on Thursday at 5:30 PM, will feature the General Sports Authority (GSA) and the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) cups.
