Saudi labour authorities have urged establishments employing 50 or more workers to disclose training-related data to upgrade workforce performance and bolster productivity rates. The Ministry of Human Resources said the decision to upload the data on its Qiwa platform also aims to enhance transparency, raise the quality of training programmes in the private sector, and provide clear indicators of training data at the national level. The decision obligates establishments with 50 or more workers to disclose training data and activities, including the number of training hours, the number of trainees who have completed training from the categories of workers, students, graduates, and job seekers. These institutions are, moreover, required to disclose their training plans, relevant reports and the financial budget allocated for this purpose. The ministry noted that compliance with disclosure of training data contributes to providing an accurate analytical reading of training indexes at the labour market.
