The much-anticipated 12th edition of the Bahraini Farmers’ Market is set to launch on 7th December at the beautiful Al-Budaiya Botanical Garden. Running until 22nd February, this beloved event is organized by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, in partnership with the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) and stc Bahrain. A Platform for Local Agriculture The Bahraini Farmers’ Market is a cornerstone initiative aimed at boosting the local agricultural industry by providing a vibrant platform for showcasing Bahrain’s diverse and high-quality produce. Over the years, it has become one of the Kingdom’s most notable development projects, drawing significant attention from locals and visitors alike. In the previous edition, the market attracted over 230,000 visitors, including many from across the Gulf region, highlighting its importance as a community event and a tourist attraction. Diverse Participation and Offerings The Ministry has opened its doors to participation from a wide range of businesses and individuals, including agricultural companies and malls, environmental projects and tour shops, restaurants and cafés, and productive households and craftsmen showcasing transformational products linked to Bahrain’s agricultural heritage.
