After announcing the indefinite suspension of its London-Bahrain flights, British Airways has reversed the decision, resuming its 90-year-old partnership with the Kingdom. The historic route, which played a pivotal role in the maiden voyage of the British Airways’ Concorde back in 1976, continues to remain a vital one, facilitating economic, cultural, and social exchanges between the United Kingdom and Bahrain, reports stated. Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the operator of Bahrain International Airport (BIA), welcomed the airline’s return with enthusiasm. BAC highlighted British Airways’ role in driving Bahrain’s economic growth, unlocking commercial opportunities, and enhancing convenience and connectivity for travellers on both sides.  As the operator of one of the most modern boutique airports in the Gulf, BAC reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the success of British Airways’ operations at BIA. “This partnership celebrates a shared legacy of cooperation and reflects Bahrain’s strategic position as a financial, cultural, and aviation hub in the region,” BAC stated.  The resumption of British Airways flights marks not only a continuation of a longstanding collaboration but also a renewed chapter in strengthening the historic bond between Bahrain and the United Kingdom.
