Quintas Sola expressed gratitude for the warm welcome he received, hailing the historical, long-standing relations between the two countries, the statement said.

He added that he was happy to be in Algeria in a period coinciding with the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious Revolution for liberation.

Saihi, who is also the chairman of the Algerian-Cuban Joint Commission, stressed the relations of solidarity between the two countries and the prospects for strengthening them in the health field, in the best interest of the two countries and in accordance with the guidelines of their leaders.
