These relations, which are distinguished by a convergence of views and positions concerning Arab, regional and international issues, are set to be strengthened during the State visit that the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, is paying as from Monday to the Sultanate of Oman, where he will hold talks with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq on regional and international issues, particularly the Palestinian issue, and matters related to bilateral cooperation.
This visit is a significant opportunity to strengthen and promote the close bonds of brotherhood, historical friendship and the understanding uniting the two countries, in line with the two brotherly peoples’ aspirations.
It will also define new priority areas for bilateral cooperation in various sectors of interest to both countries.
It also involves examining opportunities for joint cooperation in investment, energy, mining, food security, Saharan agriculture and the possibility of establishing joint projects in many other sectors.
The leaders of both countries maintain constant coordination and permanent consultations on all issues, notably the developments in the region and at the regional and international levels, by enshrining the tradition of political consultations between the two countries at all levels, serving their common interests and those of the Arab-Muslim nation.
