The meeting also enabled emphasizing “the positive results stemming from the implementation of the programs related to local governance and participatory governance, as well as in terms of security, the fight against drug trafficking and the fight against violence against women,” added the source.

The two sides discussed “avenues to strengthen the cooperation in local development, schooling conditions and road safety, as well as ways to intensify efforts in terms of achieving the sustainable development goals at the local level,” added the source.
