The President of the Republic and Sultan Haitham bin Tariq listened to the Algerian and Omani national anthems during this ceremony, while 21 cannon shots were fired in honor of the President of the Republic, who is on a state visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

The visit of the President of the Republic to the Sultanate of Oman aims to bolster the bonds of fraternity, cooperation and consultation between the two brotherly countries.
