The meeting, held at the ministry headquarters, provided an opportunity to “review the privileged friendship and cooperation relations between Algeria and Russia.”

It also allowed for “discussions on how to engage legislative bodies in efforts to boost bilateral partnership, especially through the activation of various parliamentary diplomacy mechanisms,” the same source said.

The two sides also carried out an exchange of views on several regional and international issues of mutual interest, the statement concluded.
