President Tebboune receives well-wishes from German counterpart

ALGIERS — The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received on Saturday a message of well-wishes from the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious Liberation Revolution.

In his message, the German President wrote: “On this anniversary of the Algerian Revolution, I am delighted to convey my warmest wishes to you and to all citizens of your country.”

“Since the beginning of this year, your country has played a leading role in maintaining peace and stability, through its membership in the United Nations Security Council. I am deeply grateful for the commitment that our two countries give to close exchanges on these matters as well as their willingness to strengthen and deepen cooperation in key sectors such as renewable energy, green hydrogen and migration,” continued the German President.

“I personally wish you, Mr. President, health and well-being, as well as peace and prosperity for your country,” the German President concluded.
