Attaf receives director general of APRM continental secretariat

ALGIERS- The minister of State, minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received Tuesday the director general of the continental secretariat of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), Marie-Antoinette Rose Quatre, as the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, is the chairman of the APRM Forum of Heads of State and Government, the ministry said in a statement.

Held in the presence of the secretary of state for African Affairs to the minister of Foreign Affairs, Selma Bakhta Mansouri, the meeting was dedicated to "the presentation of the main lines of the programme of the Algerian presidency of the APRM Forum of Heads of State and Government, mainly the strategic plan of action for 2025-2028, as well as the agenda of the Forum's Summit, scheduled for next February, and which will be chaired by the president of the Republic," the statement said.

Ahead of the Summit's proceedings, Ahmed Attaf will chair Thursday, by video link, the 38th session of the APRM Focal Points Committee, the statement said.

During her stay in Algeria, Rose Quatre will be sworn in by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, as the new director general of the continental secretariat of the African Peer Review Mechanism, the statement concluded.
