Council of ministers: President Tebboune gives instructions to new Government’s members

ALGIERS- President of the Republic, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of the National Defense, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, chaired on Sunday a meeting of the Council of the ministers during which he gave instructions to the members of the new Government, the Presidency of the Republic said in a communiqué.

“President of the Republic, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of the National Defense, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, chaired a meeting of the Council of the ministers during which he gave instructions to the members of the new Government, as follows:

  • After the opening of the session, the President of the Republic welcomed the members of the Government, particularly those who have been charged with an executive mission for the first time.

 

  • The President underlined the importance for Government’s members to honor their commitments to the people and to fully and completely implement his presidential program.

 

  • He emphasized the importance for the ministers to carry out and execute, fully and rigorously, the missions entrusted to them in service of our fellow citizens.

 

  • Continuously address concerns raised on the ground, with the required promptness and necessary professionalism.

 

  • The President instructed Government’s members to develop sectoral action plans to be presented at the Government Meeting, then in the Council of Ministers, for their prompt implementation on the ground.

 

  • The President asked the Government to focus all its efforts on achieving citizens' well-being and meeting their needs.

 

Before closing the Council of Ministers meeting, the Prime Minister renewed his thanks to the President for his trust, committing to doing everything, along with the governmental team, to fully and optimally implement the President's program.”
