Rector of Djamaa El-Djazair receives Head of National Security, Foreign Policy Committee of Iranian Islamic Shura Council

ALGIERS- The rector of Djamaa El-Djazair, Sheikh Mohamed Maamoun Al Kacimi Al Hoceini, received, in Algiers, the Head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Islamic Shura Council, Ibrahim Azizi, the mosque’s rectorate said Wednesday in a press release.

“The rector of Djamaa El-Djazair received the Head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Islamic Shura Council at the latter’s request, who was accompanied by members of the Iranian Parliament,” said the press release.

The meeting took place in the presence of the head of the Algeria-Iran parliamentary friendship group, Moussa Kharfi, and the ambassador of Iran to Algeria, Mohammad Reza Babaei, added the same source.

In this respect, the rector of Djamaa El-Djazair provided “comprehensive explanations about the mission of this religious edifice and its grand objectives. He commended the level of bilateral relations between Algeria and Iran, before evoking the global situation of the Ummah, particularly Palestine, the central cause of Muslims, and the genocidal war perpetrated by the Zionist entity against Gaza.” [/ecr]
