Government examines measures for "full implementation" of President Tebboune's directives

ALGIERS- Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui chaired Wednesday a government meeting devoted to putting in place operational measures for a full implementation of the directives of the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, given at the latest Council of Ministers, mainly those relating to the concerns of citizens and the development of sectoral action plans, the Prime Minister's office has said.

"Mister Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui chaired Wednesday, 27 November 2024, a government meeting on the execution of operational measures for a full implementation of the directives given to the government by the president of the Republic at the Council of Ministers held on 24 November 2024, especially those regarding citizens' concerns, the development of sectoral action plans to implement the comprehensive and ambitious programme of Mister the president of the Republic."

As part of the implementation of the commitments of Mister the president of the Republic to ensure food security, the government heard a report on the national programme to increase cereal storage capacity and the progress made in the achievements of relevant new facilities.

The Government also put in place a number of instruments to deal with the agricultural land issue, the funding of agricultural storage facilities, and meat and livestock feed, in cooperation with the National Union of Algerian Farmers.
