This meeting was held at the headquarters of the Directorate General of Sonelgaz, in the presence of senior executives. It was part of reinforcing Sonelgaz economic partnership with foreign operators, according to the same source.

 In this respect, both parties recalled “the profound historical relations between the two countries for over 60 years.”

 They further examined “the means to strengthen economic partnership between Sonelgaz and the Mexican economic operators.”

 Adjal assured that “Algeria’s favorable economic and investment climate offers a great opportunity to Mexican economic operators.”

 For his part, the Ambassador of Mexico to Algeria expressed “Mexican companies interest in investing in Algeria and in cooperation with Sonelgaz.”

He underscored his determination to “relaunch this partnership in the framework of a new vision based on a win-win principle.”  [/ecr]
