The two parties discussed “the current regional situation, particularly in the Sahel,” welcoming “the relations of fraternity, solidarity and cooperation between the two brotherly countries, which are experiencing an exceptional dynamic thanks to the particular interest that the two countries’ leaders grant to the continuous strengthening of the historical relations linking the two brotherly countries.”
As for bilateral cooperation, Niger’s minister expressed “his great satisfaction” with the results of his visit, which follows that made by Niger’s Prime Minister, Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine, to Algeria last August, praising the quality of his talks with Algerian officials in order to strengthen cooperation relations between the two countries, particularly in hydrocarbons.
The meeting also allowed to discuss the launch of the execution of “Kafra” project after the finalization of the related action plans and programs, as well as capacity building through training and valorisation of the Algerian experience in the field of hydrocarbons, particularly oil refining.[/ecr]
