"This edition, for which the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, was chosen as the guest of honor, records a strong participation of start-ups, and represents a real opportunity for these innovative companies to gain experience, enter new markets and expand their partnerships," said Salem Rabia, representative of the communication company "Incop Events,” which is organizing the exhibition from October 8 to 10 in Annaba.
He added that this international exhibition is marked by the participation of 80 exhibitors from different provinces, including professionals, experts and investors in the agricultural field, and the presence of ambassadors to Algeria from 10 African countries, making it "an ideal space to launch economic partnerships in agricultural activities and discuss strategic crops and Saharan agriculture".
For his part, Mohamed Yazid Hambli, president of the National Chamber of Agriculture (CNA), emphasized that this exhibition, in which 25 Chambers of Agriculture from as many provinces are participating, constitutes "a space for promoting South-South cooperation according to the win-win principle" and for "developing an Algerian partnership with African Sahel countries in the agricultural field, as well as allowing foreign investors to explore the many opportunities offered by Algeria, which has experienced significant development in this area in recent years".
Abdelkader Touissat, president of the National Interprofessional Council of the Camel Sector, accompanied by two researchers from this council, Amina Aouachria from El Oued, and Ouahiba Boukhari from Ouargla, said, for his part, that this International Exhibition is also "a valuable opportunity to present the active camel breeding pole in 26 Algerian provinces.”
In this regard, he underlined a "program for marketing camel meat nationwide at prices representing half of those charged for sheep and beef meat".
During this exhibition, researcher Bouchera Guedouar presented her innovative experience in producing cheese from camel milk and organized a tasting of this type of cheese, which was highly appreciated by the exhibition's guests.
