The meeting was part of a series of meetings to strengthen synergy and interconnection among the structures of the Finance ministry, especially the bodies for forecasting and foresight, namely the General Directorate of Forecasting and Policies, the General Directorate of Foresight and the National Office of Statistics, the statement said.

The goal is to encourage collaborative working and promote the strategic role of the GDF in developing long-term economic visions, such as the Algeria 2040 and Beyond Vision, the ministry said.

During the meeting, Faid emphasized "the importance of making the development of human capital one of the priority initiatives of the ministry, stressing that sustainable economic development strategies were based on the skills and commitment of the involved teams.
