Algeria partakes in 2nd Beijing International Cultural and Tourism Consumption Expo

ALGIERS-The Tourism and Handicrafts sector will be taking part from November 1 to 3 in the 2nd Beijing International Cultural and Tourism Consumption Expo, at the Chaoyang Exhibition Hall (Beijing), according to a press release from the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts.

Participation in the Beijing exhibition is “in line with the government's action plan on the tourism sector, which aims to implement the “Algeria Destination Perspectives 2030 Plan”, as part of the enhancement of promotional activities on an international scale, through participation in events and exhibitions.”

It is also meant to “boost Algerian participation in foreign exhibitions and shows in 2024, and support efforts to publicize our country's tourism assets and capabilities.”

To ensure exceptional participation, the tourism sector will be working through its pavilion “to promote Algeria as a tourist destination, using promotional media highlighting the aspects of tourism and historical and archaeological sites, in addition to broadcasting videos showcasing Algeria's exceptional tourist sites and exhibiting certain craft products.”

The event will “foster the integrated development of all chains of the culture and tourism industry, focusing this year on interactions between culture and tourism in China and Beijing (resources, innovations and tourism integration)."[/ecr]
