The two parties also discussed the relations of bilateral cooperation, and means to strengthen them, notably in the energy and mines sector, particularly in hydrocarbons, hailing the exceptional level of friendship and cooperation relations that unite the two countries, in accordance with guidelines of the countries ‘officials.

Arkab and Delcy Rodriguez also commended the two countries’ consultation level, especially within the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and the Gaz Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), so as to strengthen the stability of petroleum and gas markets in service of the producers and consumers’ common interest, as well as consolidating technical cooperation and training relations through the GECF's Gas Research Institute in Algeria.
