Algerian-Australian “WMZ,” Chineese “Sinosteel” sign agreement

ALGIERS- An agreement on the development of the zinc and lead mine in Thala Hamza-Oued Amizour (Bejaia province), as well as for the construction of a plant for these two materials’ processing, was signed Saturday between the Algerian-Australian joint venture 'Western Mediterranean Zinc' (WMZ) and the Chinese company 'Sinosteel', while adopting a 'rapid' execution pace for this strategic project, which enjoys constant monitoring from the country's highest authorities, led by the President of the Republic.
