In a statement to the media, at the headquarters of the presidency of the Republic following a working meeting chaired by the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, dedicated to exports, Boukhari said the "extremely important" meeting was part of the "policy of Mister President of the Republic aimed to diversify national economy, especially in non-hydrocarbon exports."

In this respect, a ministry for exports will be created and a relevant "clear and well-defined" strategy will be developed, according to Boukhari.

The strategy is based on several criteria, namely "the diversification of exports, the combination of efforts by all players without exception, performance efficiency and the strict implementation of decisions."

Boukhari expressed "the willingness to work according to this strategy to reach the objectives set."
