The ministry has decided to "suspend all the scheduled competitions and sports events, till further notice, following the developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, due to the savage aggression of the Zionist entity against the Gaza Strip," the ministry announced in messages sent to national federations and departments of youth and sports.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Algeria Football Federation decided to suspend all competitions and football fixtures until further notice, in solidarity with the Palestinian people who are victims of savage Zionist aggressions.
