CAIRO (Egypt)- Algerian cycling team (men and women) won 16 medals (4 gold, 7 silver and 5 bronze) on the third and last day of the 12th Arab Track Cycling Championships in Cairo, Egypt.

Algeria's four gold medals were won by Yacine Hamza (Keirin Elite), Anes Rishi (race for points and Omnium junior) and Alameddine Benmaachou in scratch junior.

The seven silver medals were won by Mohamed-Nadjib Assal (Elite Keirin), Anes Riahi (Keirin, scratch and elimination junior), Al-Khacib Sassane (kilometer elite), Yacine Hamza (speed elite), in addition to the Algerian elite team made up of Mohamed-Nadjib Assal, Lotfi Tchambaz, Yacine Hamza and Al-Khacib Sassane in the team chasing events.

The five bronze medals were won by the Algerian elite team, made up of Mohamed-Nadjib Assal, Yacine Hamza and Al-Khacib Sassane in team speed race, Mohamed-Nadjib Assal (speed elite), Yasmine El Medah (speed elite), Anes Riahi (speed junior) and the pair Lotfi Tchambaz and Mohamed-Nadjib Assal (Madison elite).
