These medals were clinched by Azzedine Lagab and Yasser Laidi in the senior and youth individual time trials, respectively, held Wednesday morning, on the fourth day of competition.

Thanks to these two new medals, the Algerian team has brought its provisional total to eleven: 4 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze, while awaiting the start of the road events.[/ecr]
