It is the first club competing in both events to arrive in Oran, as it has replaced the Sporting club of Egypt that withdrew from the competition at the last minute "for financial reasons," the organizers said.
The BMC will play Egyptian Al-Ahly in the Super Cup's first match on April 15, as part of the competition's semifinals, while the other semifinal game will be between the JSK of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Egyptian Al Zamalek.
The final will take place on April 16, that is 48 hours before the kick-off of the Africa Championship of Cup-Winning Clubs (April 18-27), with the participation of 12 men's teams and eight women's.
Algeria will not compete in the Super Cup but will be represented by four clubs in the Africa Championship of Cup-Winning Clubs.
In the men's event, Algeria will compete with ES Ain Touta (champion of Algeria), OM Annaba (winner of Algeria's Cup), JSE Skikda and HBC El Biar.
In the women's event, it will compete with HBC El Biar and FC Bourmerdes.
