Friday's Algerian gold medal was snatched by Anes Jaihi in the 3000m steeple, who clocked 9:08.83, while the silver medal went to Younes Khetal in the hammer throw (66.13 m).

The two bronze medals were received by Mazigh Soukri (triple jump, 15.01 m) and Manel Kehlouche (javelin throw, 38.66 m).

At the end of the third day of the Arab U20 Athletics Championships, Algeria's medal tally reached 18 (5 gold, 9 silver, 4 bronze).
