SETIF – The Algerian rider, Hamza Yacine, claimed on Friday a second win at the Cycling Tour of Algeria (TAC-2024), outsprinting compatriots Youcef Reguigui and Nassim Saidi to take the 186.5km sixth stage in Setif on Friday.

Having already claimed victory in the opening stage in Sidi Bel Abbes, Hamza Yacine of Team Madar Pro took the top spot in the TAC-2024’s longest stage, completing the 186.5km route with a time of 4h 15m 25sec, earning at the same time the green jersey of the best sprinter.

In the overall standings, Eritrean rider Meron Hagos Teshome claimed the race leader’s yellow jersey, previously held for three stages by Algerian Ayoub Sahiri of the NR Dely Ibrahim team.
